🍾Here’s to You
As we close out 2025, I want to pause and recognize something important: you are more informed, more prepared and more confident online than you were this time last year.

Digital security isn’t about perfection, or doing all the things all at once. It’s about making incremental changes, establishing good habits and making better choices more often. I think of it as a volume dial, not an on/off switch.

🥂 What Have You Learned?

Each week, you’ve learned how scammers think, where your personal and business information is most exposed, and how small things like stronger passwords, safer sharing of information, smarter backups and a healthy dose of skepticism can all add up to meaningful protection.

Most people never take the time to learn this… but YOU did!

🌟Looking Ahead To 2026

Here are three simple ways to start the new year safer

You don’t need a long checklist or a complete overhaul to improve your security posture and reduce online risk. One intentional step made in January is enough to start. Here are three options - pick one and commit to it!

Home Security. Do a physical security check at home - fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, fire evacuation plan.
Use a Password Manager. No need to store everything here at first - just download a password manager, and start using it for one or two of your accounts. A password manager lets you use a stronger, unique password.
Use multi-factor authentication. Prioritize this on your accounts like bank, credit cards and investment accounts. It can be as simple as a text message or (better) a simple, free app like Duo Security, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

👉 Your January Commitment: Choose one of these and do it! Security is a volume dial and turning it up just a little makes a big difference!
